2012 OVERVIEW
(I haven’t written this blog for a very long time, due to the disruptive and longterm natures of personal Uranus/Pluto transits, which I will share in another post). So I am making a public committment to myself with this blog. I won’t say something unless I have something to say that I believe is beneficial rather than just add to the cacaphony already on the web.
In fact, there were over 16,000 comments on my blog. So I deleted everything. Email me again if you’ve got something to say.
What’s been happening to all of us in the past few weeks? Has everything seemed to be strange, like everything is in flux or perhaps you’ve slipped in (and out of) another dimension (or two)? Car issues, maybe, or weird illnesses? That was Uranus slamming across the Aries Point. The Aries Point is 00 degrees Aries in the great circle of astrology, the arbitrary beginning, the birthing of the zodiac. Uranus is the planet of quick upheavals, the abruptness of an earthquake, change through things happening out of the blue. Jupiter was conjunct Uranus on the same day that Arab Spring erupted in Egypt. Jupiter expands, magnifies, amplifies whatever it touches. It also rules higher philosophy.
This transit will place Uranus in square to Pluto in Capricorn. This is a stressful alignment. However, squares can also be doorways, into a new way of balancing the energies. Pluto’s changes come slowly and deeply. Rather like the slow lava buildup to an eruption (which would be Uranus). This square will be exact April through June 2012. Look for disruptions everywhere and anywhere. Pluto in Capricorn is the establishment, accountability, underlying change in the foundations. Uranus in Aries is the unexpected, new beginnings. The clash is between dismantling the old and creating the new. Sometimes you just gotta take a sledge hammer to it.
The exact square of Uranus and Pluto during April through June will have a profound effect. Both are planets of transformation. Uranus is abrupt, out of the blue, volcano eruption, earthquakes, sudden upheaval of change. As with all change, it can take awhile to integrate. Pluto transforms at the basic foundational level, and it takes a long time. It’s the lava below the earth, lending its energy to eruption. So, it’s better to build houses on a firm foundation, so the sudden shifting of the sands won’t make it topple.
There will be more and more of a disconnect between the old powers that be (Capricorn) and the new birth bursting forth (Aries). We are seeing more and more of a demand for accountability, transparency in our goverment as Uranus moves further into Aries. Again, expect more disruptions.
Jupiter will trine Pluto the end of March and the beginning of April 2012. This beneficial aspect will add its amplification and magnification characteristics to the work Pluto is already doing. Jupiter will also add more philosophical notions about the spiritual nature of life.
Mars will trine Pluto April through June while in retrograde. Things could blow. Watch how your emotional issues come up. Stay calm. Process this junk. How can you take the high road?
Neptune is dipping back into Aquarius one more time as it moves forward into its home sign of Pisces. Neptune, the higher octave of love, reminds us one more time about global and cosmic social consciousness. Neptune transforms by dissolving the old. However, Neptune can also be confusing, escapist. (I recently heard on a radio talk show that there will possibly be a water crisis (Neptune in Pisces) due to the salination of fresh water from the rising sea levels. Then I also heard there may be a food crisis. Prep now if you’re not already getting organized.)
Chiron will conjunct Neptune in April and May. Chiron and Neptune have been dancing together, on and off, since 2009. This conjunction will remind us to have compassion, that we’re all in this together. We can only heal as we heal our shadow.
There will be three Mercury retrogrades in 2012: March12 through April 4 (Pisces/Aries (note the Aries Point again)) July 14 through August 8 (Leo) and November 6 though November 26 (Scorpio/Sagittarius).
Venus will be retrograde May 15 through June 27. More on these retrogrades in a later post. They also toss their own little curve ball into the mix.
Numerologically — 2012 is a five year, with lots of activity and drama. I foresee a lot of “movement”, to be in right place at the right time. 2011 was a four year, where we focussed on working on foundational issues. 2013 is a six year. Again, this involves foundation but more in a sense of community. Please look at Solara’s website on the 11:11 — www.nvisible.com for more on this train of thought, Right Place, Right Time, Right People, for living as True Ones in a dying world of duality. I agree with Solara. After 2012, everything will be changed.
Since 2009, when the Haiti earthquake hit, I’ve been noticing a pattern to the earthquakes and volcanoes. If there was an event, in one part of the world, it was balanced by one nearly opposite it on the globe. Mother Gaia, Planet Earth looks like it’s being twisted apart.
And the Norway Spiral. Did we go extra/interdimensional? Did something extra/interdimensional come in? I mean, we’re trapped on this biosphere hurtling through space. Anything can happen and as much as we’d like the illusion, we have no control over celestial/cosmic events (say, hypothetically like a Coronal Mass Ejection from the sun, a galactic EMP pulse which would threaten to screw up all our electronics).
Our world has already changed. I believe that there will be more catastrophic events in 2012, whether natural or human made. Unfortunately, I believe more people will be leaving the planet, either from natural or unnatural earth changes (that is, Gaia removing some toxicity from herself, or HAARP/scalar energy). I definitely see unexpected events taking place. Stock up. Prepare. With eccentric Uranus and dark Pluto square to other, anything can happen.
There are cycles within cycles within cycles. I don’t know why the Mayan calendar stops at 12/21/12; but the dance of the planets goes on.
Remember I ride the roller coaster just like you. All we can do is hang on, crazy ride, surf the waves. Earthlings, human beings, are adaptable and resilient. We are all going through this together, and we will come out together as a species (albeit maybe a bit more evolved. One can only hope).
More to come. Peace, Namaste, Shalom, InL’Kech…Thea
